Requirements
Around 8 to 10 years experience with a financial institution, bank, stock/commodity exchange or a brokerage house, of which 5 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
In-depth knowledge of exchange/broking operations and surveillance, clearing and settlement function
Good knowledge of derivative products
Past trading experience will be preferable
Have a flair for teaching and imparting knowledge. Experience of having conducted classroom teaching will be useful
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
Lead the training department and manage a team of 3 - 4 analyst
Develop strategic plans for increasing awareness of commodity and derivatives markets
Devise strategy to utilise training as a sustained revenue stream
Design and develop commodity specific training modules and derivatives trading training modules
Design and structure training modules based on requirements from member brokers, trading houses and market participants
Assessing user requirements and translating them into an effective training program
Conduct investor seminars for creating awareness of commodities market and derivatives trading
Conduct tests and evaluation after the training program
Identify potential partner institutes/management schools for possible tie-ups/collaboration
Preparation of training material and collaterals
Conduct in-house training programs for employees of the organisation
Educational Qualifications:
Post graduate in finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field, professionally qualified Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst
