Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of IT, Asiapac
• Supervise all projects in the region and roll out global tools in Asia Pacific region
• Ensure all projects are deliery on agreed milestones
• Escalate any potential issues to Head of IT and Head of Operation on time
• Manage BA team resource, strengthen their functional knowledge and skills; ensure proper BA structure
• Create cooperative and productive work environment between Hong Kong and the remote development and support teams at Bangalore
• Ensure coordination and cooperation with other business units for projects and baselines
• Promote the use of standard project follow-up tools
• Ensure SLDC and required functional specification are in place
• Lead critical projects which encompass major business units and functional group members
• Carry out study in collaboration with other IT regional teams and global IT teams
• Manage setup of information systems and contribute the definition of the target architecture

Requirements:

• Degree in IT or related disciplines, Post-graduate degree (MBA, MSc, PhD) is highly appreciated
• Strong banking knowledge of FX, Money Market, and Accounting & Finance is a must
• Knowledge of bank accounting principles and accounting of banking products; financial reporting and statements; global accounting systems is appreciated
• Solid team management experience of business analyst with proven capability of developing team staff
• 10 years relevant experience is a must
• Excellent Project Management skills with good negotiation skills in a multi-stake-holder project
• Good communication skills in international, multi-team and multi-cultural environment:
• Ability to steer distant development teams; work in diverse and multi-task environment with remote users / teams
• Involvement in a wide scope of subjects and environments:
• Strong analytical, synthetic skills with strong sense of priority
• Rigors, result-oriented and client-oriented
• Ability to identify synergies and system inter-dependencies
• Strong motivation skills
